I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.
Pont des Arts, also known as Lover's bridge, crosses the River Seine and links the Institute de France to Palais du Louvre. Since 2008, tourists and lovers have been attaching padlock to the railing on the side of the bridge, and throwing the key into the River Seine, as a gesture of unending love, thus the name Lover's bridge.
